A Gunsmith and gunshop
owner, Dick Hardy has been in business for 30 years, the last twenty
seven based in the Angus town of Forfar. He is a noted
game shot and countryman with a keen interest in wildlife conservation,
habitat and environmental considerations.
From a family with shooting traditions going back to glass ball targets, Dick was introduced
to game shooting by his father at the age of nine. He has represented Great Britain as a member of the FITASC sporting team and is a former Scottish Champion at both sporting and skeet. He is a regular
member of the Scottish Sporting team. Dick has reared game since his teens and has organised game shooting for the past
30 years, currently being shooting
tenant over two estates in Angus totalling 7,000
acres. Few could ague with Dick's credentials, his Knowledge, experience, natural shooting ability and a sense of
direction equip him well to produce this introduction to driven game shooting.

The Hardy family involvement in shooting and wildlife conservation is continued through Dicks son Mike, who, with over 17 years experience as a gamekeeper, is now responsible for both of
